I know life can be a roller-coaster, but with the right processes, skills, and care, you can come through the ride stronger and healthier than ever before. I enjoy caring for individuals of any age, gender identity, culture, and background. In particular, I have over 6+ years of experience working with teens, and I make strong connections with youths, providing them with critical support during their often difficult years.
In counseling, I frequently weave together multiple techniques to create a personalized treatment for the individual. These might include solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) modalities to meet each client’s individual needs.
My specialties are helping teens and young adults, and people of any age suffering from anxiety, depression, phobias, and trauma. I have a Bachelor’s of Chemistry from CU Boulder and a Master’s of Social Work from Metropolitan State University. My passion is to help people live their best lives by deepening their self-understanding and forging new ways of thinking. As a certified yoga instructor, I have seen the power of mindfulness and movement in individuals’ transformation and enjoy bringing these tools into the therapeutic setting.
Whether you are just looking to talk, are struggling with depression or anxiety, or are working through past trauma, I am here to help. I’d love to meet you at our comfortable Longmont, CO office or meet via video conference (by phone or computer) from any space that works best for you.
