Hello, I’m Luciana. I am passionate about helping people heal and discover what is meaningful to them to lead a fulfilling life. My style lends itself to an integrated approach to counseling that focuses on the overall well-being of a person. I am client-centered with the understanding that each person is the expert on themselves and their own needs. As a therapist, I believe it is my role to assist my clients in identifying and utilizing personal strengths to manage symptoms that are causing duress.
I have extensive experience working with individuals facing addictions, trauma, mood disorders, thought disorders, self-harm/suicidal ideation, anxiety and depression. I am credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). Additionally, I am trained as a first-responder counselor and a certified health coach, which allows me to provide comprehensive support to my clients. I work in community mental health as well as in private practice, which allows me to have a greater understanding of the challenges we all face.
