About
Hi, my name is Ronald, but feel free to call me Ron. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with hands-on experience, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse clinical settings. My focus is on helping individuals develop effective coping strategies, fostering a positive mindset, and guiding them toward a life that aligns with their core values, leading to greater happiness and fulfillment.
My career started at HEART Counseling Center, where I specialized in addiction and trauma, working with both court-mandated and voluntary clients, addressing a range of issues, including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have also co-facilitated group sessions focused on stress reduction and DUI education. I’ve used a range of techniques in therapy, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
I hold a Master of Science in Counseling specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I have extensive training in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. I take a person-centered approach, ensuring that each client receives the compassionate, personalized care they deserve. If you're seeking support on your journey to mental wellness, I’m here to help.
