She is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S/LISW-S), complemented by being a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). These credentials support extensive specialty certification, including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interview (MI), with a variety of additional supportive training and techniques. Becca is a zealous lifelong learner, researcher, and contributor - serving on various boards and currently Chair of Program Development for a non-profit organization supporting homelessness and substance abuse. She is an esteemed presenter of her experiential knowledge and academic research at professional conferences, academic presentations, legislative committees, and most recently, the Colorado State Capitol.

Before moving to Colorado as a Travel Social Worker, Becca garnered her professional expertise within a multitude of leadership roles in diverse settings including Outpatient/ Inpatient/ Residential Community Mental Health, Veterans Affairs, Trauma I Pediatric and Adult Medical Centers, mental health -based judicial programs, Academia, Intensive In-Home programs, and Private Practice. She received both degrees from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work - during which she began her enthusiastic academic research and intense personal pursuit of a deeper understanding of neuroscience and the implications within behavioral intervention.

Becca’s dedication to this profession and heartfelt commitment to Mindfully is intertwined with her passion for helping people and to elevate their life experiences. Specifically, Becca seeks to uplift marginalized voices and identities who have not always had equitable access to healing care.  This commitment can be seen throughout her professional career and will be present during her leadership and community impact. Her comprehensive training, enhanced life experiences leading to expansive insight regarding unfolding social challenges, her evolving strategies for optimal mental health with creative intervention and prevention education, exposure to post-pandemic ramifications, and customized evidence-based practices define our success and direct our effective leadership.
