Charles Roberts

ED.D, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS

Charles is a Supervising Professional Clinical Counselor. He obtained his Doctorate of Counselor Education and Master’s degree in counseling from the University of Cincinnati and his Bachelors’ degree from Wabash College. Charles has held positions in direct patient care in inpatient and residential settings at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and the Lindner Center of Hope. He also works as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati, teaching in the Psychology, Addictions, and Human Services departments.

Charles J. Potter

​PHD, LPCC-S

CJ is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervision credential (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio and has been practicing as a counselor since 2013. He graduated with his Master’s degree in community mental health from Heidelberg University where he was also a full time track and field coach. In 2020 CJ completed his doctorate in Counselor Education at The Ohio State University. Clinically, CJ’s primary background is serving clients with concerns related to substance use, as well as those who have experience serving in the nation’s military.

Charity Chaney

MA, LPCC-S

Charity Chaney has over a decade of clinical therapy experience. As an Autistic ADHD and OCD clinician, she is passionate about leveraging her lived experience and DBT knowledge to help clients that are also Autistic, ADHD, and/or OCD. She leads the DBT team and co-leads the Neurodiversity team at Mindfully, which together encompass her two passions in therapy. s departments.

Penny Kruger

LCSW-S

Penny completed her Masters in Social Work at Tulane University in New Orleans. She has been practicing clinical social work for over 25 years at all levels of clinical care with a variety of clinical areas including mood disorders, sexual trauma, sexual compulsivity, domestic violence offender treatment, and personality disorders. Penny is intensively trained in both Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy. In 2006, she founded the first adult DBT Intensive Outpatient Program in Austin, Texas at Ascension Seton Behavioral Health. In addition, Penny is an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Department of Health Services at The University of Texas at Austin’s Dell Medical School where she teaches the psychiatric residents and social workers about DBT.
